Soleares Avenue and Mt Pleasant Road are two of the major roads through this suburb. There are many walking tracks nearby, winding their way along the slopes of the Port Hills. Mt Pleasant is an ideal spot for keen windsurfers, as the Estuary is a very popular location for the sport.
